Focus Mk2 2.0 TDI with Powershift (twin clutch) box. Photographed to show a scratch that was there when I got it.
Went well enough, was a little surprised that the ‘box felt almost the same as a torque converter automatic down to slushy changes and dragging the clutch to provide creep. Reasonably economical (those are miles per Imp gallon), rather heavy and stodgy to drive. Somewhat surprisingly a Pious I hired previously was somewhat easier on fuel.

The 5-speed manual in the Mk2 Focus with the diesel was pretty good...

I’ve driven a six speed manual Focus 1.6 diesel since - not quite so good. Too many gears to be honest, five is enough.
